first rc body need help!!

hopefully for my birthday i am going to get a Ford Raptor SVT body for my stampede and i am going to paint the bottom black and the top (door handles up) lime green like im going to on my racecar im building and i think frog tape works good so which one should i paint first the black or green? and can i use spray paint?? and will the tape peel off the color?

any help is appreaciated

You have to use the real paint that hobby shops sell. Spray cans from wal-mart wouldn't work because it will start chipping. I don't understand what you mean by bottom and top...

you are going to divide it right. first or second depends on some factors. like do you want the green to have some darkness to it then paint the lime green first. tape off where you want your line of green then tape up for the balck using tape and paper.covering all that is going to black. then paint the green on to your liking.then paint on the black and you will have a draker shade of green. now if you want the green to pop then strat with the taping off the amount of green you want then spray the black paint on to the desired color then take off the tape you put for the green and spray on the green to your liking. it is easier spraying dark colors first then the light. hope this was helpful.

and use only paint for rc cars not the spray paint from hardware stores and dont forget to waer gloves latex gloves should do it and wash the inside of the body as well have fun painting

Pretty much every rc body is painted on the inside. Reason: if a rc car cashes onto the body, the paint job would be all scratched up. If painted on the inside, it doesnt. It looks the same painted from the inside and outside. Thats why the shell is clear.

It is a pain, that's why I just make a design and draw it on paper then get a hobby shop painter to paint it. But yeah, you want it on the inside. Wait,... You want the body painted on the inside. o_0

yeah paint the inside is a must and will come out very glossywhen you peel off the spray film on the outside. watch some vids on youtube to get better insight on the process. you might find a perfect method just for you.
