can I use regular spray paint?

The bodies i've painted for my crawler and scaler came out good.I used rustoleum paint from walmart, the first body i painted for my crawler i bashed it ,i rolled down hills and landed on rocks and it hasn't given me any issues yet and that was months ago.I'm not saying your results would be the same just sayin.

Well, it isn't that other paints DON'T work it is they don't have or have very little flex to them and other paints don't bond to the polycarbonate body like the lexan paints. which is why the polycarbonate paints are a bit more expensive than the regular paints. The Flex agent and bonding agent add a good amount to the price of the paint. The Japan disaster will more than likely cause a rise in the price in all paints 'cause there is a certain ingredient in some paints that can only come from Japan. This might affect the polycarbonate paints and it might not, guess we will see.

yeah the disaster in japan was terrible and it will be awhile till there back to normal

yeah it is supposed to take another 6 months to be "cleaned" up and that reactor finally cool down

is it still a code red (extreme trouble) state? i heard that some of the radiation is getting as far as the east coast of the us

Lexan paint is designed to be somewhat flexible. Unlike other formula based paints and sprays.

So it will literally just flake and peel no end if you don't use lexan paint.

I have heard of people painting the inside of they're shell with lexan paint, and then the outside with normal sprays... though I have no idea why you would feel this was necessary.
