how do you know what truck is yours when its selecting the channel and stuff?

The transmitter puts out a signal that the receiver looks for and finds then binds to that signal.
Usually right after install you bind the TX to the Rx.so they look for each other specifically.some higher end radios can have different trucks that will run off one radio.all the Rx's are bound to that particular radio.different settings and controls can all be individual to each truck.

yessir it automatically selects a channel for you if you have the 2.4 ghz if someone is on the same channel as you

ok and one more thing with that traxxas remote the 2.4 ghz can i buy another receiver and put it in another truck so i can use one remote with my different trucks? (i only have one truck now but for future reference)

As long as it's the link version of the traxxas 2.4.It is capable of 10 model memoryI think,.It saves you from having to rebind for each different truck Not sure on the exact # but is more than 5 for sure.Which is kinda funny every time you buy a new truck you get another remote, get enough of them you could make a mobile to hang from the ceiling.

yeah definatly but i was just wondering incase i would happen to come across a used rc or something that didnt include transmitter

ya it's perfect for that and you don't get confused which tx with which truck...

ya you could bind that transmitter to that rx and good to go
