turnigy servo

i am looking at getting one and i want to know how you people feel about it i am looking at one that has 220oz per in and its speed is .08 so for 60$ thats nice. but have u ever used a turnigy servo in one of your cars and what was the experience like

I'm running the turnigy hv767 single servo setup on my summit turning 8.26" tall RC4WD rock crushers,at 6v. I haven't tried it at 7.4v yet haven't needed to yet.Great servo for the price.

awesome your the guy i need to talk to because i want the speed version of this... ist the case that the little metal gear comes out. is that aluminum?

I never looked but i believe it is.It feels pretty hefty in your hand .I seem to remember some one saying it was. So the mounting ears don't snap off so easy

hmmm do you think you could make a small video it doesnt have to be good quality something for a cell phone if you dont have a camera but you make a video of the steering servo turning the summit at a stand still i want to see what the performance of it is on such a heavy truck. if you did that would be amazing

Not exactally what you asked for but you will get the idea that the servo is pretty stong.where i run when i want the truck to turn i need it to turn.I'l try and get some better footage for you ..really busy with work at the moment [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/discusdog]YouTube - discusdog[/url]

Uploading a vid now it's not great but lets you see it working.If its too choppy (it is on my junky machine) I will try again

dude that thing is awesome for one servo pushing that monster and thats on 6v

Thats at a true 6v castle bec as i am running a 1/5 scale servo that i made into a winch.The pre made ones would run away crying.LOL
I also upgraded to a aluminium bellcrank arm and servo horn.This servo would and did a few times destroy the plastic stuff with the big tires
