hpi just released a car called the "switch" and it is a front wheel drive electric on road car. that they say is geared for people that are just getting into the hobby so its cheap easy to work on and run. i think it being the first front wheel drive rc it would make a very interesting racing class and would take a lot of skill to run

You can turn any 4wd touring car into front wheel drive just by removing the rear belt or driveshaft
i know but this one is designed for fwd

yea i think it would be fun... but the over steer would be irritating
I have looked at them at the shop. Kinda cute. but I would never spend my money on em

I did a quick [URL="http://www.rcnightmare.com/hpi-switch-fwd-rc-review.html"]review on the HPI Switch[/URL] so check it out! This thing has gotten a lot of flack and I'm not its biggest fan but I think it would be a good car for a beginner and that is really what it was made for.
i saw that... well it seems a little pricey for a beginner 200$ you could get a blitz for 190$ which is better.. so i think HPI screwed up on this oneQuote:

As for Under steer, typical with FWD cars, it can be tuned to even have over steer. It's all about traction up front.
I'd get one if they were more popular, I think they could make a good Spec class for racing
