^^ the HPI drift series is a nice kit, from what I understand. One thing that most people like is that they can be changed from drift to touring just by moving a few parts around. The price makes them a good "starter" kit as they aren't the cheapy kit and they aren't the expensive kits.

One thing I would recomend is finding a track near you and watch a few races and talk to some of the racers and spectators to see what they are running and recomend. This will also allow you to meet other local RC'ers.. Is a really good place to start ;)

Whats he difference btw touring an drifting? Srry im a noob I wish I had a local track or that I knew anybody that likes RCs like I do

I do believe most touring cars are 2 wheel drive, where as drifters are 4wd. they also use different styles of wheels. drift tires are smooth with little grip and touring car tires provide a lot of grip. Do not quote me on this.

Hpi E10s or Sprint 2s are not bad entry level on-roads I'd say, maybe even a CupRacer just because they're fun
