The car is dumb in my opinion. Over priced and is pretty useless. Throw that system and gearing into a 1/8th scale touring it'll do 100. The car takes flight after 90 mph and this radio nonsense makes no sense to me. It my opinion 1500 bucks can be spent in better places

I couldn't see myself having fun with this car. You can only drive them on wide open flat areas and hit one bump, money will be coming out your wallet. $1500 could get me some Traxxas, HPI, or Losi vehicles and go on and off road.

to me i have only one place to run this car and its still to small. I have fairgronds very close to me but i cant go there because its locked up all the time so its a no for me

If I was going to spend $1,500 on an RC it would be a Losi 5IVE-T to go along with my Baja 5T.

But these things are selling for way under $1,500. They're selling for $1,000 to $1,100.

Yes, but at that speed on a rustler, you have a plane on your hands! I have a rustler vxl hat goes 80 and once you get going that fast, the front end lifts up and you in deep doo doo! The XO-1is a very cool car but for that kind of money, I could have my Losi 5ive or Baja 5sc. Very nice car, but no where near worth that money! If you hit something going 100 mph with a rc car, it's pretty much gonna end up in zillions (new word people) f pieces, then you'll be buying another one if you dare! Cool car, not worth all that!

The X is an entirely new design including the chassis.

oh ok. becuase i was wondering if you can take all that areodynamic stuff off and switch the body shock towers and a arms and shocks and tires and wheels for an off roading beast. might defeat the purpose but wont that be awesome
