    those are tamiya hub carriers from the highlift chassis right? and rpm should only stick to a arms and bumpers

    Nope, Kyosho 8th Truggy hub
    Well the black inline hub conversion was from Pro-Line, not RPM ..... I bet if they were from RPM they would not snap that easy

    this sounds crazy but you should do more stress test on all the other suspension parts to make sure they wont break and to note what to replace for stronger parts

    Rear hub is replaced with RPM and the front is almost done
    Still waiting on Slash 4x4 heavy duty drive shafts

    Right ..Well I dropped the chunky 8th scale hub and chose a Jato steering hub in stead
    And they are a direct fit, NO slop, just a wee bit tight
    they didn't have the steel axle ( easy enough to make, and a set of 17mm hex hub with bearings)


    Got new steering and camber turnbuckles as well

    the whole steering looks so much cleaner now. and should last those crazy jumps

    Yeah and the Jato ones are allot beefier than the pro-line steering hub's

    Nice work man!! Its good to see people that still do custom builds and not just buy a bunch of bolt on parts and call it a project car. LOL

    It's what I do, and one of the reasons why I today am a trained Machinist, Welder Fabricator, Blacksmith, Wroth iron smith... and an all around nice guy
