Team Associated T4!

I don't know about you guys, but I have either had tremendous luck with my t4 not breaking. Or are they just as strong for everyone else?

It's crazy the amount of abuse I have put mine through!

Here's my Setup:

- Standard T4 chassis (not FT)
- Losi Xcelorin 6.5t Sensored ESC and motor combo
- Core RC 3250mah 20c 2s
- Spektrum dx3

Tyres -
Gladiator rears
Stock ribbed fronts (Badly worn)

Upgrades -

I Run RPM Arms all around, stock are far too stiff for bashing, although I would switch out to stock if I were to race competitively.

Swapped out rod ends from pivot ball to directly bolting to rear chassis plate

FT Servo mounts (lost originals)

Broken Parts?

Broken a few things:

Rear shock tower, rear chassis brace, steering knuckle, all four arms, rear body posts, lower chassis brace

That is it, and all of those things have only broken once. It's amazing how strong the thing is, plus its soo light!

I have a t4 too and it is quite a tuff puppy I have maxed it out with all aluminum parts except for aluminum arms and shock towers. But the arms like yours are RPM Upgrade. I once hit a wall going 50 MPH and snapped the chassis in half but that was it lol. I love my T4!!

Super tough truck :)

The chassis is very rigid so that's amazing that you snapped it!

because it's so strong, today I was abusing it some more, going full throttle (40-50mph) down a road, and straight up a banked corner which is quite steep and shooting it 20ft+ across. It was so much fun! and another thing to note, is I don't ever put the shell on, unless i'm at the track.

You know that you have more of a chance of breaking a shock tower by running it without a body if you land it upside down. And my chassis broke a the weakest point where it gets really thin and starts to curve up in the front

Yeah, of course. But it just looks a whole lot better in the air without the shell on :)

plus it doesnt have the parachute effect and it controls nicer without :)

I mostly bash on grass anyway so it would be very hard to break a tower. Plus, I have the nack for landing backflips, double backflips and single forward flips :)

it's so responsive in the air compared to my other kits :)
