Fantom makes some of the best motors out there. I use the run there .12 nitro motors way back when I ran 10th scale nitro.
When you put the pinion gear on the motor put a small (very small) amount of lithium grease on the shaft of the motor. Put the pinion gear where is needs to go and tighten the grub screw. Then wipe any excess grease of the shaft. The lithium grease will not break down in high temperature applications and makes removing the pinion gear a breeze.

I say tekins the best so far, cause they just came out with a 4 pole, sensored 540 brushless motor. And in the video it shot a SCTE up into the sky, never seen that with a 540 can size
anybody have any experience with speed passion motors?
I've had a few, they are excellent for the price. and can be very competitive motors in light car.
Also if you are having issues getting pinions off, if you are using a 1/16' wrench, try a 1.5mm or vice versa. I know traxxas pinions use a 1.5mm hex on the set screws but robinson racing uses a 1/16".
I reject your reality, and blow it up with C4.
