stock shock blowing apart

I haven't had the best luck with the powerstrokes but I hear stories of others having better luck with them...

I can't recommend the big bores enough. I've torn off rod ends a few times without any damage to the piston/shaft assembly. Really tough shocks.

So after trying everything else I went today and bought some big bores this better fix the problem ,I'm kinda tired of blowing those plastic shock caps. So I will put them on this weekend and if the weather ever dries up I will try em out.

yet its raining and spitting snowhere in s.e. ohio and I haven't been out yet, but soon as i can I will let you know.

I got the big bores on and i really like them, I got the xxL shocks so I will have more adjustability, turned out great because it rides great without any spring preload spacers.

I forgot to mention that I just got the rear shocks, I'm using my aluminum front shocks off of an rc10gt. I had to get a rebiuld kit, but they are working fine. If i ever have trouble with them I will get the front big bores too. So far its a nice set up, It makes the stock shocks seem like toy grade.

Im thinking about modding my slash to fit losi 8ight b 2.0 shocks since i have a new set coming in for my buggy soon. Ill prob post a build thread of it if i decide to do it. right now im running the ones that come with it with the ti-nitride shock shafts and losi springs. havent had any problems blowing shock caps though. maybe im just lucky
