little guy is in school so I took the opportunity to try the Summit! gosh what speed!!
had the original battery. 2c lipo will be power in plenty for Melvin. 3c lipo is too much.:eek:
yeah 3s is ridiculous 2s should be perfect for him to get use to it and have fun with it
hummm. Melvin has burned the motor or speed control. (weird, with a 2c lipo.
I agree good choice for a present hopefully he gets into the hobby and likes it as much as we all do
great choice of gift, my 6yo son wanted the haiboxing crawler 1/8 size, I did try convincing him to get the summit but he wanted the crawler.........3 months later he wants the summit lol

That suck Kran...I hope it's just the motor, if there was smoke or a really bad plastic/wire melting smell I would guess your esc. Motor's can smell to but the smell you would get from the esc is just unbelievable how bad it stinks.

either your kid is huge, or the summit is small. lol jk man :)
