    Should i worry about running 2s 5000 mah lipo in slash 2wd vxl

    I just bought a 2s speedpack 5000 mah lipo. I have a fan on my esc already should i worry about overheating it with stock gearing. Thanks for your help

    2s on the VXL is no problem. If it heats up, just lower your gearing.

    shouldnt be a problem they are made to handle up to 3s lipo

    I've been running a 3s 5000 in mine. ESC stone cold, but my motor gets hot no matter what pinion I run. Running a stock 19t now. Motor gets around 175 to 185 degrees. Hopefully I can believe my temp gun! So 2s should be fine. Watch the 3s though.

    i know my vxl would cut off if the motor or esc got to hot, but you still do not what you motor to ever get that hot (in my opinion) but you should be A okay

    U should be worried if you are running A 4s Lipo
