stampede 4x4 vxl upgrades

Hey everyone!,

I'm getting a pede 4x4 and I want to know what some good upgrades are and what's best to get in aluminum and what to get from rpm because it's good to have a weak point rather than all aluminum and bend the aluminum and pay 300% more!
also tires and rims?

I'd say suspension.I upgraded to Integy piggybacks and they are decent.I like the powerstrokes better though.Either way it was a upgrade.Buy plenty of axles if you plan on running 3SLipo,Trust me you'll thank me later.I upgraded to RPM A-arms but you lose the stock brush guards.RPM sells a different brush guard but I don't think its as effective.Other than that its a great truck.Enjoy it for what it is,as it is and when you get bored with it,then start upgrading it.
