E-Maxx Weight Question
I've got a 3908 (brushless edition) e-maxx, that now has several upgrades, such as aluminum bulkheads, rpm true tack a arms, rpm towers, etc..
The truck is now heaver than before, and the big bore shocks sit much lower now. I also have noticed that it bottoms out easier than before. DOes anyone have recommendations on better shocks, or solutions? I have checked the shock oil, and have used more "spacers" on the springs to help them push up more.
Thanks

Try stepping up the shock rate and add 10-20 on your shock oil. Also you may need to change your pistons in the shocks.

Showing my newbness on this... what do you mean by stepping up the shock rate?
-
Springs have different tensions making the rc have softer or stiffer suspension. Look up on google "traxxas spring rates" The higher the rate, stiffer the spring.

that search produced very confusing results, including posts on other sites that traxxas no longer sells different springs for the big bore shocks. I saw some folks referencing use of losi shocks, but no specifics of which ones.
