i to am looking for the best tires to run outdoors mainly garvel and dirt some grass and farm land stuff. i just got one that is the small nubs on the tires im guessing its for a tight dirt track not lose gravel and muddy stuff. anyone know what are some hard tires with good traction.

I've got the proline big joes there a very agressive tire and there alot bigger than the stock tires that come on the truck and they seem to be a really good tire so fare good hook up in loose dirt gravel and hard packed dirt and on grass look at my pictures you will see them and if you want to look them up
they are big joe 3.8" (40 series) all terrain tires mounted on tech 5 black wheels Part # 1103-13

Big Joes are good for off road and the trenchers are also good offroad but will do better than the Joes on pavement. My personal fav for the maxx are masher 2000s.

I like the traxxas talon tires or the traxxas response pro tires for the summit 1/10, or even thr rpm moster spider monster truck wheels (on www.rpmrcproducts.com)
