new rc

I want an rc that im going to be able to bash and jump but i want to buy it from traxxas cause i know they make good stuff but i need help picking out a model any ideas ?

If you want to bash...look no further than the stampede 4x4

Ya, traxxas is a great company because there whole lune is waterproof and extremely durable. Either the slash 4x4 vxl or the stampede 4x4 vxl

These choices are the best of the best, but if money is an issue and you really want a Traxxas, I'd go with a Slash or a normal 'Pede

i dont know about any other models of traxxas but i do have the brushless e maxx model #3908 and i bought it just for that reason and was very dissapointed with it just for the fact that all the stock parts seemed to break farely easy but know that i have it all upgraded it is indestructable good choice if you have the money to put into it

I'd just get a Savage Flux, sames brushless in it, just comes in a nuke proof truck to start :l

I've not heard much about the savage except that they are way heavy!!!!!!

My only thing about hpi is there isn't as much part support is there? I don't have any eperience with them but there just doesn't seem to be as much at my lhs as there is Traxxas

We used to have a hobby "corner" here. It was a hobby shop in a tiny corner of a small store. Literally all they had was Traxxas. I go to others all they have is a few Slash parts. I think it depends. Personally I don't like Traxxas, but other people do. They're very popular through all their commercializing.

So yes they do have more support, but with a Savage you wouldn't need that. If a part does break order an RPM one, and for new tires and body, you have Pro-Line.

My main is an Associated, and most of the hobby shops I go to are Horizon Dealers. Horizon dropped Associated a year ago O.o

That's the one thing I'm nervous about for when I get my RC8B is my hobby shop doesn't carry AE
