They are totally worth the price and are very durable! With mine, I only got the truck and transmitter, had to buy AA batteries, batteries for truck, and charger. I think all that comes with it now.

there are brushless versions rtr withe the vxl system and cost about $100 more. i bought the brushed mini e-revo and upgraded to vxl which is a lot better than i thought it would have been. so far i haven't broken anything besides overheating my velineon 380 which was my fault. i would say its worth more than the price traxxas charges.

get the 1/10 e-revo brushed. its got plenty of power. i would buy all the revos if i had enough money. the electric ones are the cheapest though.
