i've never tried it but still wouldn't recommend it, id rather break a spur gear than my motor.

Ya I would agree that its easy and cheap to fix a spur gear so I would leave that as a breaking point. But I bet it works great til something breaks haha
yeah i think it would be great as long as there is another breaking point on the drive line

yeah but hey you spent the 20$ on it run it and see if it causes any problems. maybe even run a weak aluminum pinion so if something needs string the pinion will

i have never broke a spur gear, but it is wearing. also runnin robinson racing pinions.
i see no problems the ofna's use steel spurs.
I wouldn't recommend it, another solution is a Delrin Spur from Hot Racing.
i currently have one but iam not running, except when i was it was high qualty,and my car ran great
I advise not to use it. Causes to much heat and the plastics will never strip if mesh is set correct.
