Traxxas slash 2wd

I have a traxxas slash 2wd, I was wondering if anyone else does and would like to talk about them

Love the 2wd slash. Personally I upgraded mine with RPM parts as I broke it. I also sealed the differential and that made the biggest difference in handling.

I'm going to move this thread over to the electric truck forum.

If you bash and have brushed you NEED to throw some lipos and a brushless system in there. My nemesis, the curb, has broken all of my parts including the chassis and I've switched to all rpm too.

I have the 2WD Slash I traded for an Ipod I got free. I installed the optional gearing for high speeds and it's fast on NiMh (about 35mph) but the engine gets hot real quick.

How long have your had your slash for hatchet man? What are your thoughts thus far?

It's very durable for sure, haven't broke a part and I've let people that have never had a RC car before. Not a good idea, but it never broke a part. I just need to find a gearing that has decent speed and won't make the motor so hot.

welcome to the forum!! and yes, whatever you do, RPM!!! the slash is already the most badass electric ready to run, but those things are amazing
