just got a slash 4x4 . upgrades???

i just ordered my slash 4x4, what upgrades should i purchase for it?? of course RPM everything, but what else is prone to break on the slash? that driveshaft rod? idk some one help please!

is this for racing or bashing? did you order standard or ultimate?
the rpm front bumper is a little heavy
you will want a stronger faster servo
king headz motor mount which has the larger bearing
aluminum center diff housing
castle mamba pro
mamba monster 2200 for bashing novak ballistic 550 for racing

ive got a regular slash 4x4 for extreme bashing, jumps, grass, dirt, jumps, puddles, and did i say jumps? lol maybe a little speed runs on pavement. wouldnt the mmm be too much power for that truck?
ive seen vids of tires becoming shredded due to mmm power.
whats the difference between the king headz and stock, (other than the bearing) what does the larger bearing provide? will the stock bearing die on me soon?

my bad mamba max pro, yes the MMM is too much
the KH is aluminum and the larger bearing is more durable , but the stock bearing is tiny, and yes it will die soon and cause all kinds of problems
so if you got regular then you might want a center diff

yeah i heard that the stock bearing is good for road use but terrible for dusty tracks or any kind of dirt or sand

so the dirt gets in the bearing? does the slash 4x4 do wheelies w/o the center diff? that would be funny lol. can the slash handle mmp 2400 and 4-6s??

I dont have a 4x4 but everyone i know says this is a must have upgrade.

i would suggest just driving it and when parts break replace them dont have the first thing to worry about being parts when you havent even broke anything yet just drive it until it breaks than upgrade! :0

it uses a much larger bearing and is more durable, plus it is sealed that other one has holes for dirt and stones to get in
yes the MMP is good up to 6s

yes the MMP is good up to 6s

Thats the one i was thinking about. I couldnt remember the manufacturer. And yes the mmp can handle 6s but the internal BEC will have brownout issues.
