traxxas slash vxl upgrades or 1/16 erevo

Ok so I have a traxxas slash vxl and I don't know if I should upgrade everything to aluminum even though I have big bores and a lot.qof rpm parts or if I shouldget a mini erevo brushed with a 27 radio I want it justt to bash and becauseparts are cheaper

i would get aluminum parts for the slash because i found its easier to stick with one car instead of two
its cheaper because you dont have to get double the amount of parts for the cars
i like the merv but i think the better way to go is stick with one car and upgrade it to aluminum
