should i get brushless in my 2wd slash?

I have a slash with a brushed motor running with the stock esc. If I do get brushless what motor and esc should I get? Should I get a combo or separate motor and esc?

100% you should get a brushless system. Get the velineon VXL-3s and 3500 motor combo. It is an excelent system because its very easy to use and it is waterproof, also the motor is crazy fast. You should get the combo cause you will save around 20 bucks. But when you are more familiar with brushless systems then you can get different motors and ESCs depending on your taste. So all in all the velineon brushless system is a great system to get.
If nobody comes back from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision can it be?

do you mind if it is not water proof and are you gonna race it? If you still want water proof and aren't gonna race, then you will want the vxl system. If you're not gonna race then you can and don't mind if it is not water proof then get either the castle sidewinder sct if you are only gonna run 2s or the mamba max sct edition if you are gonna run 3s. If you are gonna race then get a sensored setup you're gonna want the extra smoothness.
I reject your reality, and blow it up with C4.

I started out with a base model 2wd and right away went to the velinion setup and never looked back. With a couple turnigy 3's lipos you will have a fast little truck for cheap
