has a wide veriaty of things not just rc cars but every higher
quality toy plane car heli boat you could think of also has 1 indoor zip track and 2 out door tracks 1is on road you stand at a high place podiem thing 40ft high and also a off-road track nice jumps little high with the angle but any off-road car can go over it might have a problem going around turns because it has hard ground and a thin layer af louse dir really helps if you dampen it there isnt much shadeing so the dirt gets dry
Trains and Lanes has a good selection and there prices are the MSRP but usualy the customer service sucks :/ i much perfer Hobby Town USA in Whitehall, PA
I love this store has almost anything you will ever need!
staff seems more interested with talking to their buddies than dealing with customers…store is very cramped and disorganized.
My son was given an outdated, broken RC car (with no controller) that needed a fair amount of TLC just to get it running. We took it to Trains and Lanes to see if it was salvageable.
Maybe it was luck that we happened to draw the manager on a busy weekend without an appointment, but he went out of his way to spend time with us, get my son’s car running despite lack of available parts, find a compatible controller and changed chips to make it work, and explain to us the workings of that outdated model. He knows his stuff.
Now that’s customer service! We will certainly be back. Note: this was written many months after our visit so any euphoria would have long dissipated. It’s worth the 45 minute drive.
This is my hobbyshop for sure!!! Good selection,Good prices compared to most.Im more of a plane guy but I have picked up a nitro truck for a good price,I shopped around also.Maby the only infraction would be that the staff could be a little more friendly to people with money in there wallet’s!!!
